Our Story
During the early days of COVID, I began assessing things and stuff. Being in my early 50's as this plague began, I drew up my bucket list and realized all of it was approachable and almost all of it legal! So, at 52 years old, I purchased my first motorcycle. I needed to see that the dreams I've had my entire life about the "feel" of the ride was as defined and incredible as my lucid dreaming experience. I now have TWO bikes - WHAT A THRILL.
In my 53rd year, I re-explored my interests in food. I like to cook (I'm Sicilian) and wanted to explore a wider palette of taste. I almost went to culinary school 30 years ago to fulfill this desire, so using the time I now found I had thanks to COVID, I decided to grow a wide variety of hot peppers in the garden. The peppers, to my surprise, grew better than the tomatoes that year, and growing up under Italian parents, I learned to waste nothing. I grew ghost peppers, habanero, an assortment of jalapenos, scotch bonnet, serrano, and birds eye peppers. I decided to turn some of these peppers into hot sauces and found I enjoyed this labor immensely!! From picking, to drying, to fermenting, I couldn't stop - the magic began...
